Bioluminescence fountain pen ink is a rich dark blue ink that appears black on almost all papers, it boasts a red sheen that almost outshines the under colour on acid free papers, and has a vibrant blue shimmer. It is a complex multilayered ink that mimics the appearance of a blue luminescent sea shimmering on a near-black ocean reflecting the last deep red light of dusk. Bioluminescence is named after the blue glowing algae phenomenon that blooms regularly around Tasmania.
