We only purchase premium fittings from reputable stockists.

We live and work slow and small; we are meticulous with every step in our wood-to-pen process. We thoughtfully choose each piece of rough timber and take time to cut each timber blank to size while maintaining the uniqueness of each piece of wood. We take particular pride in handcrafting limited edition pens such as our Story Wood Collection.

We tread lightly on the earth; we strive to be environmentally conscious in all aspects of our business and living.

• With your help we are actively restoring Australia’s native habitat. Every time you purchase a pen or journal from us, we donate money that plants a tree through One Tree Planted. Thanks for partnering with us to create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and aid global reforestation efforts.
• We dispose of all manufacturing waste and off cuts thoughtfully.
• We package and display our products using sustainable and recycled options and ship using 100% carbon neutral options as often as possible.
• We advocate bottled fountain pen ink for our fountain pens to reduce landfill.
• We offer pens in a natural finish with no added gloss or glues, just the silky sheen of polished timber.

We support local and Australian; prioritising local suppliers and makers. For example, we offer only Australian poured resin blanks and specialise in Australian timbers. We advocate and support many small businesses throughout our entire design, manufacture, marketing and shipping of our pens, pencils,  letter openers and journals. We are an official stockist of Van Dieman’s inks which are made in Australia.
