Mulberry Timber

Mulberry trees are most known for their delicious edible fruit. The leaves of mulberry trees are the primary food source for silkworms which produce silk. The heartwood is a golden brown, darkening to a medium/reddish brown with age. Sapwood is a pale yellowish white. Mulberry is native to Southern Europe, the Middle East, northern Africa, and the Indian subcontinents. This mulberry timber was grown in Grafton NSW.
