Native Olive Timber

Olive timber features dark cream to yellowish brown tones with darker brown to black contrasting streaks. Due to olive’s economic importance, it is not usually cultivated for lumber; yet is highly sought after for wood turning, spoon carving and woodwork. Olive wood has a distinct and pleasant fruity scent while being turned. This olive wood was grown at Narangba, QLD.
