Black Wattle Timber

Black wattle is a native Australian hardwood timber which ranges in colour from light golden-brown to deep-brown sometimes with a reddish tint, often with black or golden streaks. The grain can be straight or wavy. Black wattle is named after it’s dark bark which contains high levels of tannins, used in tanning leather. Different parts of the black wattle tree have been used to make rope, glue and tea. In some areas the Aboriginal people used black wattle timber to make clap sticks.

Yes we laser engrave. While the dark coloured timber in this pen makes personalising this timber pen difficult, we personalise wooden pen boxes via laser engraving. In the text box please provide:
